Preparation For The Trip
You know, I've met some folks along the way
that mind you with all good intentions, have "planned" a trip to death.
Don't get us wrong here. I'm all about Planning. But after
everything is said and done in most cases "less is more".
Okay, enough of that let's get on with it.
Obviously the first thing that must be established is where. And
where will be forever linked to how long? Spontaneity is the heart
and soul of any trip especially long distance. Destinations! You
got to have them, but I've got to tell you the unplanned side trip can be
exhilarating, exciting, frightening but possibly your most vivid
memories. As a Eagle Scout you must be prepared for anything. Do your
homework and you will have a trip full of great memories.
